I was frustrated, but then we found Typesy. Our schedules would get crazy, and the typing program would sit, forgotten.ĭisclosure: I was compensated for my time to use and review Typesy, but all experiences are our honest opinion. Three and six month programs just weren’t working for us. I also needed a program with a longer subscription. I needed a comprehensive program, with a clear cut path. We tried a few different programs, but they didn’t seem to stick. The only issue? They needed to learn how to type. One of the accommodations we requested was typing the boys’ composition papers. The teachers and staff were amazing, and have been totally on board with my sons’ needs. I laid out what I would be doing at home, and had a fair amount of requests for the classroom as well. I approached the teachers and administrative staff and explained the diagnoses, as well as what my boys would need in the way of accomodations. That’s a lot to try and navigate at home, much less in a classroom setting. Last spring, we learned that between the two of them, we’re dealing with dyslexia, dysgraphia and auditory processing disorder.
